Three hot, new sizzling trailers to make their way online this past weekend…

Movie News/Trends

I have been unable to update you guys on the latest trailers these past few days and I deeply apologize for that. Today, I will be righting that wrong starting off with the Warner Bros’ Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser trailer. We have recently seen the sneak peek leading up to this trailer and finally it has arrived. The trailer runs for about two minutes and five seconds and in it, we get a good look at Ben Affleck’s potrayal of the Dark Knight. Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel is also shown with one of the voice overs from Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor. I can’t wait for March 2016 to arrive. Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot. So, enough talk, view the trailer below:

Another trailer to make its way online this weekend is 20th Century Fox’s Fantastic Four second trailer. I personally felt this should have been the first trailer instead of the one we got first. This second trailer features the Fantastic Four in full powers and we also get a good look at The Thing and Dr Doom. Directed by Josh Trank, the film stars  Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, and Toby Kebbell. View the trailer below:

Last but not the least is Disney’s Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens second trailer. This weekend, the Star Wars Celebration took place from the 16th to 19th at the Anaheim Convention Center, California. Star Wars Celebration is a fan gathering to celebrate the release of a Star Wars franchise movie. It began in 1999, when Lucasfilm held the Star Wars Celebration in Denver, Colorado to celebrate the upcoming release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Subsequent events have taken place to welcome Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, as well as honoring the 30th Anniversary of the release of the original three films. During the event, a new trailer for The Force Awakens was shown, giving us a good look at the main leads in the movie. Directed by J.J Abrams, the film stars  John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker reprising roles from previous films. The story is set approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983). View the trailer below:
