We have already glanced at scenes from the trailer of DC’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Justice, basically a superhero beat-down movie that would be released next year and now, the trailer for Marvel’s own superhero beat-down movie, Captain America: Civil War, is finally out. Check it out below.
The trailer world premiere was unveiled on Jimmy Kimmel’s Show just hours ago. I’m so psyched for the battles on and for the big screen next year.
Captain America: Civil War is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Captain America, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, and features an ensemble cast that includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan,Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd,Frank Grillo, Daniel Brühl, and William Hurt. In Captain America: Civil War, after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, another international incident involving Captain America and the Avengers results in collateral damage, prompting politicians to form a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to call in the Avengers, which results in the fracturing of the team while they attempt to protect the world from a new enemy. Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016, in 3D and IMAX 3D.
